A view from my back porch…
With crisp mornings and warmer afternoons my mind sets sight on childhood memories of carefree anticipation of things like upcoming celebrations of glad tidings and such. Extra food was expected in my boyhood home where family would sample on this and that till the dawn of a new year emerged. I suppose tradition with or without meaning carries memories each to themselves.
Although the years have altered much of my childhood recollection some remnants of those past activities can still be found among the thoughts that carry us into another new season. Thankful to carry any torch, lite or not is reason enough to give thanks to the thankful blessings that land right here on Old Mule Farms…………..Dan
