The Old Mule

A view from my back porch…

  Sitting here listening to the early morning still sounds I know soon enough that will change. Before long the ole hound dogs across the hollow will bring their deep voices to the hand of who feeds them. The clicking of traffic as it crosses the tracks a mile to the south, and the hurried sounds of speeding trucks off to end another work week. For me these are important indications that I have made it into another day where after coffee I will attempt to arm myself along the path that stretches beyond my sight. So walk I say for tomorrow comes just after today here on Old Mule Farms……………..Dan
