Where Time Stands Still
With honor my children have given me the title of the Old Mule seeing how I`m the third generation on this farm. The original part of this land has been in my family for years and today five generations call it home. Over time I have been blessed to add more acreage making Historical Old Mule Farms into my life's work. We have several original buildings plus many that I have relocated to save and preserve the history of the old south. Old Mule Farms is still a working farm producing quality hay, livestock, pecans, and garden vegetables. Every day we carry on the past through tradition. Our farm is also a step back in time where history is kept alive using old farming practices like plowing with a mule, blacksmithing, and firing up the old smokehouse filled with our own farm raised meats. Classic woodworking and timely craftsmanship are a large part of our life and helps us carry on the old school techniques. Preserving the past has been my passion in life and I am pleased to share it through the old way of homestead living. So come along and enjoy a slower pace right here where time stands still.
