The Old Mule

A view from my back porch…

  Starting off with strong coffee, hot biscuits, and fried jowl means a good day is just off the back porch of the old homestead. I got me a lot to whittle on this week with chores galore that have gathered together. That usually means one big ole pile of sawdust in the future. Meanwhile the farm swims in the vast rains that have swept our area over the weeks. Needed just as we need rainfall in the summer months. All points to a good start to spring as well. I might even oil up the saddle to be ready for spring planting. As time permits my orderly orders will be handled one at a time, naps pending, and coffee breaks expected. It`s a great day on Old Mule Farms…………………………….. Dan
